• What happens after I fill up the form to Adopt a village?

  Once you fill up the form, we’ll get in touch with you and help set up the page for you. In the meanwhile, to speed up the process, you could keep a short write-up ready about yourself and what your motivation to do this is.




• Whom does the money go to when I make a loan here?

  When you make a loan on this page, or any fundraiser on Milaap, we will map your contribution to a borrower in the specified sector/region and send you an email informing you of the name or the borrower. This is currently done manually, hence we request you to bear with us if it takes a while.

• How do I claim my
  gift?

  Make sure you enter your address and phone number in the relevant fields after making a loan, or while filling in the form to Adopt a village. We’ll ensure that your gift is on its way!




• I made a loan on this page, but I haven’t received my Milaap account details. Why?

  Once you lend, we create and account and map your contribution to a borrower and email you the details. This is currently done manually, so it might take a while. Please bear with us while we get this done!.

• What happens if I can’t raise my target amount for the village?

  No worries. Even a small amount goes a long way. 100% of what you raise will go towards the cause you raise funds for.




• I made a loan on this page, but it is not reflected in my Milaap account. Why?
